RHONDA REAP-CURIEL, CEcD is a graduate of H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College and the A B Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. She is also a graduate of the University of Southern Miss’ New South Economic Development Course and the Economic Development Institute at the University Oklahoma.

She is a member of Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association (LIDEA), serving on the board, and Invest LA (statewide marketing group of economic developers). Past economic development projects include StarTek USA, Tri-State Industries, Composites One, Atwood’s Bakery and Union Tank Car, where she was a primary lead team member, facilitating most aspects of the project including suppliers, training, workforce recruitment, corporate relocation, and other areas.

As the principal owner of CENCOR Consulting Group Rhonda works in the areas of economic development, workforce development and incentive compliance. She works directly with developers, municipalities and business and industry. Additionally, she is working with the owners of several large sites throughout Louisiana to develop land use plans, marketing plans and to attract new businesses to those locations.

Rhonda is a registered lobbyist with the State of Louisiana and is active in both assisting with the writing of pro-business legislation as well as lobbying to secure passage of this type legislation.

Rhonda is married to Ricardo Curiel and is a professional artist working in oil, photography, charcoal, glass and mixed media. She has a blue chow named Wolfgang.
